Copy this questionnaire into the comment box and answer each one as if someone was asking you that question and truly wanted to know the answer to it. Father of Lies

Posted by Phil Jean on Dec 16, 2009 in Life, Random

Here is an other poem i wrote a long time ago. enjoy :)

Father Of Lies

Father of lies
Get away from me.
I have authority over you
So you better just shut up and flee.

I will haunt you, I will torture you
Just like you have done to me.
I can’t wait for your eternal death in hell.
Just to see you burn will make me happy.

To mess with me
Was to mess with Christ,
That has cost you
To be an eternal outcast.

After being dealt with, by me,
You can still get through
But wait until my Father, the only true God
Starts to deal with you.

You’ll be crying and shouting out for mercy.
I don’t know if I’m the only one who think this
But that is the way that it should be.

I might still be a sinner,
I might still fall in your traps,
But mark my words satan
My God WILL give the final slap.

Satan, I truly hate you,
And your going to get it.
This poem was written for you
So just take it and you can shove it!!!

Get Up And Dance

Posted by Phil Jean on Nov 27, 2009 in Christianity, Life, Random

Here is an other poem i wrote about 5 years ago! Enjoy

GET UP AND DANCE

My generation is beginning to rise
You better go hide yourself and cover your eyes
Because it is going to get very ugly
Mostly because it’s going to be satan’s defeat.
Get up and jump and let everyone know
What side you stand on, and where you’re gonna go.
Whether up or down, it is your choice.
So make one today, and let me hear your voice say:

Jesus is the man, the one for who I stand.
He gave it all for me, just so that I could be.
I owe my life to Jesus Christ, and He died for my sins.
He did that so that we could say that we can live again

We are now living for Christ and that’s how it should be
Let everyone hear your voice and let everyone see
That Christ has changed your life for the best
And that you have passed the ultimate test.
Just be on fire for God and don’t turn back
Don’t care what people say but instead listen to Christ
Let the world know, you won’t go back again
To all the stuff you did before with all your old friends

Life can bring you down sometimes, and I understand
But stay strong and keep it going on, cuz God is coming again
And we will sing a song on the day of victory
A song that all God’s children will sing in unity.

Satan has stolen so much from us.
But that’s about to stop because God’s with us
You thought you could get away from God’s mighty power
But we’ll see who’s going to laugh in the end.
Your gonna die and burn forever

Man I love to remind you of your future.
You had your fun but it’s our turn
Jesus said I was the light so I’m just gonna shine through
Brother and sister in unity

Satan is as scared as can be
We are coming for you, so you better run away
Or we’ll get you by the throat and throw you away
I am so sick of your perverted ideas
And how you so easily whisper in our ears
But now that’s all over and we have won
Satan we rebuke you in the name of the son.

Mice Problem?

Posted by Phil Jean on Oct 16, 2009 in Life, Random

Me and my wife were doing some sound system rewiring last night in our basement. For the last couple of weeks now, we have been hearing what sounds like mice in our ceilings but didn’t really had a clue of how bad it was until we actually checked it.

I started to move the tiles so that i could pass the wires through but every tile that i moved would be full of mouse droppings. The problem is not the fact that we have a mouse problem but rather the fact that we ignored it. (well, i ignored it. My wife kept telling me to put up traps…. maybe i’ll listen next time :/.)

I think a lot of Christians do the very same thing. You know that you have something in your life that is eating you away and stealing all your joy and destroying your focus towards God. God has been speaking to you and you keep on ignoring it but what you don’t realize is that ignoring the problem won’t make it go away. In fact it will just get worst. We need to face the reality and clean the “poop” that some of us have rotting in the ceilings of our lives! Don’t wait until it’s too late. Let God help you clean your life up!

Guitar Hero Ministry Mentality

Posted by Phil Jean on Mar 25, 2009 in Blogs, Christianity, Games, Random

I follow the blogs from Steven Furtick from Elevation Chruch http://www.stevenfurtick.com and he recently posted this, I LOVE IT!

Guitar Hero Ministry Mentality

If my generation isn’t careful, we may fall into a Guitar Hero mentality toward ministry:
Everybody wants to be a rock star, but no one wants to learn the chords.

It’s hard work to study God’s Word.  To pray for breakthrough.  To do spiritual battle on behalf of those we lead.  To charge forward in faith for the cause of Christ.  To run a church with the highest standard of excellence.

Aspiring ministers:
Be willing to pay the price.  Or please go do something else with your life.

Fun day with the boys!

Posted by Phil Jean on Feb 16, 2009 in Life, Random, Skateboarding

So yesterday was such a beautiful day i decide to pull my dusty skateboard and to get some exercise. Kodi Osborn, Robert Facey and I decide to skate around my house to enjoy some fresh air and to have some fun. We decided to skate to the pond behind G.L. High School and thought it would be funny to actually try to skate on the frozen pond.  We laughed so much because the fact is that it’s nearly impossible to stand on the skateboard on the ice without falling. My knees are killing me and so does my back. haha. We also thought it would be cool to play soccer on the ice. That was hilarious because every time we tried to kick it we would just fall. as if that wasn’t challenging, we threw some snow on the ice to make it even more slippery. Then we tried to run and see who could slide the furthest and i won :) It was only when i woke up this morning that I realised how out of shape I am haha. It really felt great to be outside skateboarding again. I am really looking forward to this summer because i want to start skateboarding again. I haven’t skateboarded for about 3 years now because of a skate injury. After i got hurt, fear gripped me whenever i skated so i haven’t really pick up my board but now i think it’s time to get rolling again. I can’t wait :)

The meaning of my name

Posted by Phil Jean on Feb 11, 2009 in Random

So, i was doing some research for our May1-3 2009 Generation Conference here at OCC, and i was looking up some Greek original definitions and came across a section of my concordance that has all the true meaning of names. So i looked up Philip and to my disappointment…… it means “Lover of Horses”. I don’t even like horses that much. So yea, that’s a bummer haha.

Volley Ball Fun

Posted by Phil Jean on Feb 4, 2009 in Random, Small Group

I had the opportunity to go play volley ball last night with Pastor Frank and his group. There is one thing for sure, for a Brazilian, Pastor Frank is pretty good at volley ball haha. He was on the other team and needless to say they beat my team :( It was a very tight game (all three of them. we won the first but lost the 2 others). Even thought my team lost, I had a very good workout. It was really good to go out and hang out with the young adults and with other in the group as well. I can’t wait for next week now :)

Eleven-month-old boy accidentally dials 9-1-1 and gets dad arrested

Posted by Phil Jean on Jan 23, 2009 in Random

Hey guys, my sister sent my mom this artical and my mom made me read it. i think it`s worth reading, especially if you need a good laugh! God Bless and Enjoy!!!!

THE CANADIAN PRESS

21/01/2009 2:55:00 AM

WHITE ROCK, B.C. – A B.C. man probably wishes he had given his 11-month-old son a set of keys to play with instead of a phone, after the infant accidentally dialled 9-1-1 and brought police to dad’s marijuana grow operation.

Mounties say a 9-1-1 call came in from a White Rock, B.C. residence Friday morning but whoever was on the other end of the line hung up. Officers arrived at the residence and after numerous knocks on the door went unanswered, they entered the home.

“The gentleman was quite surprised,” said White Rock RCMP Const. Janelle Canning.

She said the 29-year-old male, startled by the sudden sight of police, insisted he hadn’t made the call.

When it was suggested a child might have dialled, the father objected and said his son was far too young.

That’s when police spotted the baby boy, phone in hand.

“We saw him playing with the cordless phone and just pressing all the buttons, so evidently he had called 9-1-1,” Canning said.

With that mystery solved, officers began inspecting the residence and soon discovered a 500-plant marijuana grow operation.

The father was arrested and will appear in court in early April on charges of production of a controlled substance and mischief.

The boy was removed from the home by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, though he was later released into his mother’s custody.

The mother does not live in the residence and Canning says she had no idea what was going on at the home.
